The 90s and 2000s were home to many amazing TV shows.

The 90s: FRIENDS and JAG

Friends tells the comedic story of six friends is a great show that has twists and turns, it can make you laugh then ball your eyes out within five seconds. The show has running gags throughout its running, that have made it iconic. From Janice’s “Oh My Gawd!” to Ross’s “We were on a break!” are just some of the things that have made this show a legend of the 90s.

JAG, a lot of people may not know what JAG is, but they will know its spin-off: NCIS. This series follows uniform lawyers, a lot like Law & Order, prosecute and defend criminal cases, except they only deal with the US Navy and Marine Corps. It’s a great show for those who like military legal drama.

The 2000s: How I Met Your Mother and NCIS

How I Met Your Mother or HIMYM, is basically the spiritual sequel of Friends. Following Ted Evelyn Mosby as he tells the story of how he met his children’s mother, is absolutely hilarious. Form Barney Stinson just existing, to the musical numbers throughout the series, to the slap bet, to Robin Sparkles, this show is great.

NCIS follows Team Gibbs as they track down murders, terrorist, and drug lords and put a stop to their evil plans. NCIS has a little bit of everything for everybody. Humor, romance (kind of), drama, Abby Sciuto, Ducky, and Tony constantly making movie references and tormenting McGee.
