Review: Phoenix Forgotten

Ariel Orr, Junior Editor

Phoenix Forgotten is a movie based a group of children who are on the search to document alien life on earth. I went into the movie expecting unending excitement. However, I was very disappointed.

The entire first half left me with nothing but complete boredom. Fact after fact is presented, and no action occurs. When the ending draws near, excitement definitely builds, but my interest in the movie was already gone by that point. The movie ends abruptly after the main character experiences what is thought to be an alien invasion.

In my opinion, the ending was completely terrible. No answers are revealed and you are actually left with more questions unanswered. If you are wanting a documentary type movie, this is the one for you. If you are wishing to see an adventure seeking, terror building, action movie like I was, this is not the movie for you.
