Senior graduation will be held at the Wildcat Stadium on May 31 at 8 p.m.

“I think its a great idea moving it out to the stadium,” dean of instruction Julie Fowler said. “Even though its going to be hot I think it allows more family members to come see their loved one graduate and I think it doesn’t restrain us to a certain compacity.”

No tickets will be needed for entry due to ample seating, and senior parents will be receiving more information in coming weeks.

“I’m a guy with a big family, and four different last names are coming from my family,” senior River Tomlinson said. “Not having to divide tickets up is really great because I can just tell everyone to come and support.”

Teachers express concern in the change in location because weather is often unpredictable.

“The weather will do one of three things,” astronomy teacher Mr. Overbay said. “Two of them are bad.”

Although weather is seemingly unpredictable, students anticipate to see what it will be like to have graduation at the stadium as opposed to in the arena.

“I’ve been to every graduation since freshman year so I’m excited to see how this one goes,” Tomlinson said. “I think it’ll be a cool new experience.”
