The Wildcats face off against Henderson tonight in the first football game of the season at Henderson.

“We all prepare by eating right and drinking lots of water through the week but the biggest part is preparing mentally and getting our minds right for the game,” Senior Jayce Hutchins said. “I play for the love of the sport and the relationships I have with my teammates. It’s not something I’ll have for the rest of my life so I want to take it in while I can.”

The first halftime performance is in the minds of several band members as they focus on the precision of each step, especially the Freshmen who will be stepping onto the field for the very first time.

“I’m excited, but I’m worried about messing up marching the long drive, I heard it was two hours,” freshman Jordan Craft said. “The collection of all of us working together to make the performance look great.”
