My name is Will Clark, and I am the Editor-in-Chief of the Paw Prints Newspaper. I am excited to welcome you to the Online Paw Prints Newspaper, beginning the school year of 2016-2017! Before I introduce the website, I must give serious credit to the people who inspired this labor of love: our adviser Paige Dyer (who allowed us to do this in the first place), our workshop speaker Leland Mallett of Legacy High School (who planted the idea in our heads), and my Social Editor & Website Manager Katie Henderson (who pushed for the idea to become reality).

Beginning September 12th, the Online Newspaper will update daily. Our hope is to maintain readers and engage with them on a daily basis with relevant news items, sports follow-ups, opinion pieces, etc. This is a first for the Paw Prints Newspaper, and I am glad to be the first Editor-in-Chief to take on this responsibility.

Our world is ever-changing. The way we handled information ten years ago is not the same way we handle them today. A revolutionary push for online use has exponentially grown over the last decade. Our own school district has even pushed for programs such as Google Classroom, encouraging teachers and students alike to embrace the new world of technology.

So we at the Paw Prints figured that if we can’t beat them, we might as well join them.

Thank you for visiting our website. We hope you enjoy the revolution we are starting, and we hope you stay to see it through.
